This weeks race from Fermoy /5 bird please disregard on your entry sheets the following ;

ALL PIGEONS ARE TO BE RACE MARKED AT YOUR OWN CLUB, this in this instance will NOT be the case,

ALL 5 bird pigeons are to be race marked at your designated centre and these are to be spread evenly across the crates, if you so wish you can race mark the ordinary Fermoy birds at your centre or if NOT entering the 5 bird you may race mark your birds at your own club and have your own crates but these MUST be transported to the centre or designated collection points for collection.

Also if weather conditions improve to suit a Dale release the Y B Channel race could be brought forward , if this is the case we will give you plenty of notice , the remainder of your Y B Club races will due to the small number of expected entries will be collected at centres and collection points . Dale & Skibbereen are Centre races only.

The NIPA have decided to racemark this Thursday for a possible release in Dale on Saturday as the weather at the present time looks more favourable as of late also on Friday night we will race mark for the Fermoy & 5Bird for a possible release in Fermoy on Saturday the following week we are due to be in Fermoy followed the following week by the Skibbereen YB Nat and a Comeback from Roscrea.

East Down Combine - Due to another change in transportation we will this week revert back to our original race programme i.e. Dale/Talbenny & Roscrea. The race programme will now run as previously scheduled. Race marking updates for this week to follow.

Note NIPA members - The NIPA have decided to racemark this Thursday for a possible release in Dale on Saturday 31/8/2024 so the BELOW GOLD RING RACE WILL BE HELD THIS SATURDAY SO EVERYONE WHO HAS GOLD RINGS GET THEM AWAY THURSDAY NITE AND DONT FORGET THAT THERE IS 4 SECTION PRIZES IN EACH NIPA SECTION. The EDC will hamper tomorrow night for a race from Roscrea on Saturday. Dorothy Smyth.

NIPA - No liberations are possible at the moment due to morning mist we will update around 9am

The EDC have released at 9.00am in Dale in an east south east wind.

The NIPA have released in Dale at 9 am in an East Southeast wind, Fermoy is looking very likely at a 9.30 am release.

NIPA confirmer liberation in Fermoy at 9.30am little or no wind.
