Just letting local fanciers know that Robert Cassidy, a lifelong fancier,sadly passed away last night. Robert was an active fancier up until his recent illness and flew as a member of the Maiden City club for more years than I can remember. His total focus was Channel and French races where he achieved great success. In the early years,he flew in partnership with his brothers, Paddy and Joe,a partnership that proved equally successful. To his sons Niall and John,and also to the wider extended Cassidy family may I offer my sincere condolences
