EDC - Dale YB Derby/Roscrea Hampering Details - 25th Aug 2025

The birds for the Dale YB Derby will be collected on Thursday night in Centres as follows:

Portavogie 6pm
Crossgar 7.45pm
Newtownbreda 7.30pm Roscrea Hampering will be as normal on Friday night from the Clubs.

Wednesday 27/08/25

EDC not marking for Dale on Thursday due to adverse weather conditions.

The NIPA will not be race marking for Dale on Thursday.

Thursday 28/08/25

Due to the continued poor weather forecast the EDC will NOT hamper for Dale tomorrow evening (Friday). Further updates tomorrow evening.

Due to the forecasted poor weather conditions for Saturday the EDC will NOT hamper for Roscrea tomorrow evening (Friday). Further updates tomorrow night.

NIPA Update - The race control team have stated that due to very poor weather it is unlikely there will be any racing from either race point this weekend. We will update the website each evening from Friday with any further information.

There is a possibility of a race in Ireland on Sunday racemarking could take place tomorrow Saturday however this will only be confirmed tomorrow morning .We will endeavour to update the site ASAP in the morning.

EDC Update - No decision has been made on when hampering will take place for Dale. Further updates when we receive them.

The EDC will hamper tomorrow night (Saturday) for this weeks race from Roscrea. Normal collection times apply.

Saturday 30/-9/25

NIPA - We apologise for building up hopes of a race in Ireland as the weather forecast has totally ruled out any chance of a race from
anywhere, persistent rain and even stronger winds are now forecasted. If anything further arises we will off course update the website.

The race Committee have stated that there will be NO basketing for any of the races tomorrow. The website will be updated Sunday evening.

Sunday 31st August 2025

The EDC have liberated in Roscrea at 8.00am in a south westerly wind.

NIPAV Update - Due to the unpredictable weather forecast with the weather advisors stating , that with low pressure circling the UK and Ireland with heavy rain forecast to come into the Southwest of England, the Irish Sea and Ireland , we can’t see a liberation on Wednesday. The weather situation is being monitored 24/7 , with this coming weekend the weather is looking much the same but if an opportunity for a race arises we take it .We will update the site this evening with any further information.

MOTE - The NIPA will racemark tomorrow Monday for a possible release in Benamore on Tuesday birds will be collected at your centres or collection points only . Your collection times are onsite on an earlier post.
